Heart Land

This is the kingdom where a sorcerer named Ancien lives, she's also the princess of this kingdom. Heartland's proud of their cars, which the king takes pride in.

Ancien has the ability to cast spells using her magic tablet, she has a friend called Joy who's actually a stuffed toy dog turned into a living one because of her magic.

Heartland has enemies called Colossus which attack the kingdom always. They are big lava-like monsters. To defend the kingdom, the King built Engineheads. A huge mecha that's operated by many engineers and workers inside.

There was an instance when Ancien casted a spell on one to help defend the kingdom and stop the Colossus from damaging it.

However, this kingdom of Heartland isn't real. This is where the title comes in: "Napping Princess". The main character in this story is Kokone and Heartland was a story her Dad would tell her when she was still little. At first, Kokone thought that she was Ancien in the dream, but it turns out Ancien was her mother and she played as herself inside her dreams.

Napping Princess is the adventure of Kokone with her Dad and friend named Morio.

This anime movie has a weird plot that I find inconsistent and some parts require more explanation and continuity, but that's just me, overall it's a good movie that I enjoyed watching.
