Another Upcoming Gundam Project: Mimicking a Customization for my SD Kit!

I saw this Gundam while browsing Facebook, and I was really amazed of the craftsmanship of it. It has an amazing weathered/battle-worn look which I bet is pretty hard to achieve when customizing it.
It's amazing I want to do the same on a kit I got for Christmas. Lol. My kit is pretty small though. It's just a semi-deformed RX-78-2 Gundam. It's the version that's chibi-like and just small.

Here's the Kit I will use. I can't buy big ones yet - I'll get scolded lol. Check it out:

Up above is the brochure and instructions on how I will build this Gundam. I haven't looked at it yet but I'm pretty sure this build won't be complicated to make at all. It's an SD!

Here's the box. The cover photo pretty much sums up what the actual Gundam looks like when build, only much simpler looking I bet.

This is what's inside the box. As far as SD goes, there aren't much sets of things to build from. Also, the colorway is very limited.
I'd have to buy some supplies to start doing this, like spray paints and some more different colored acrylics. I should practice before starting this project too. Here's what my previous & first customization looked like:

Will I be able to achieve this look after customizing the Gundam Kit that I have? I hope I will but I certainly doubt, this is my second time painting a Gundam. Hopefully, I will be able to post the finished one after a week or earlier.
