Black & White Photography

My camera has something called Film Simulations. It's actually a cool feature where you can select a few 'filters' and apply it right away on your photo - you can see it real time on the viewfinder as well. There are a few settings there for Black and Whites. For the following photos - I didn't really use them - I left my settings on the film simulation called 'Classic Chrome' then I used Photoshop to edit the following images.

The first photo was captured inside a Jansport Store in Bonifacio High Street - they had pretty cool stuff they used as design together with their displays. That's where I bought the Jansport Pouch I posted earlier.

It's a Ukulele hung up on the far-side wall of their store. Together with some posters and bags - they used a steel mesh as a backdrop for this set.

This next photo was shot from our dining areas window. The window is really dirty from the outside, you can see the dirt on the photo. In the photograph are banana leaves from trees next to our lot.

Next photo was also captured outside our dining area's window. Subject here are the dried branches and the fruits right in the middle of the photo.

This next photo had the same setting as the 2nd photo in this post. This was the view to the right of the 2nd photo.

Lastly, we go back to the Jansport Store. As I've mentioned earlier they had cool designs in the store and one of it was this table. It had framed photos in it, an eyeglasses, power bank, an empty metal lamp, and a vintage camera.

I did my best to include all photography details underneath each photos. All focal lengths are on an APS-C sensor - multiply by 1.5 to get the 35mm format.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you liked my photos. I'm still a newbie in this photography 'hobby' so forgive me if my shots aren't that exceptional yet. I will strive for better quality photos! Have a good one!
