How to Get Templates for your Website with Silex

What is Silex?
It is an online tool that enables you to create websites based on open standards. You own your tools and your data!
You can always start fresh on their editor or get their templates - their templates are opensourced contributions by users of Silex.

How to Get Templates
On their website, you can simply click on the Templates tab at the top of your screen, that acts as a shortcut and will automatically scroll you down to the templates section on the same page.

Or simply scroll down to the section and stop where you can see these templates:

Yur first way to get a template is you can click on the thumbnails of the templates you like which will actually send you over the the github page of that certain template.

Take note though that not all Open Source are free. As you can see on my sample, this is a paid product worth 8$.

Going back to Silex.me, there's a button you can press a link, if you want to see all paid templates (website didn't work for me though):

Or get the free ones by pressing the other button:

You will get redirected to a subpage called https://templates.silex.me/:

You can click on the 'view this template online' or the thumbnail:

You are able to view the template on a live website like this:

At the top of the website, you will see this button:

This button initiates a download, just save your file on your desired folder:

Extract the files from the zipped folder:

You'll have all the Free Templates Silex has:

Here's what a set looks like:

Please note that you need to upload this into a cloud service first before you can start using them on Silex.me.

Or you can fork the github repository of a template so you can get it when you sync github.
