Quicksilver is the fastest mutant alive. He was facing Apocalypse this time. It was so much a challenge to him. To think that Apocalypse can somehow match his speed.

"I am growing tired of your presence, you're no match for me. Let me finish you by making your powers so much greater than you can imagine you will not control it", said Apocalypse.

"Be my guess, I'll use that to my advantage and defeat you first!", replied Quicksilver.

And so Apocalypse enhanced his powers. A jolt of lightning fell from the sky striking him down but he felt no pain. Instead he felt power, so much power, his atoms were vibrating much faster, growing in intensity as seconds passed.

He rushed towards Apocalypse as fast as he could aiming to pierce through his body. However, with his enhanced speed and his atoms vibrating too fast in quantum levels, he started phasing through solid materials. Quicksilver lost control of his power as Apocalypse said he would, he can no longer stop, he was running as fast as the speed of light. His years are starting to catch up to him because of this.

Till after 1 minute, he stopped. He has sped through the whole planet Earth a few times. When he stopped, all that's left of him were bones.
