Tong Yang Plus is a buffet that serves the ultimate grill & hotpot experience. The branch we have visited was at SM City Bicutan located in Paranaque City, Philippines.

We headed here to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. I think it was a good choice, since we didn't go wrong with getting a VIP/function room to ourselves. Eating in private in a big place like this was a plus - especially since you're going unlimited on your food!

The room was very simple with plain beige (I think) walls with dark brown wooden lining and a sliding door. There was this piece of art hung on the wall though that caught my attention and I just had to photograph it.

Didn't have too many photographs of the food because we're in a buffet so I simply had to focus on eating! Lol.

Mostly, I ate sushi and lots of onion rings and dessert (tried almost all of them!). I should have tried making my own noodle-based hotpot (I am a fan of ramen, soba, udon, pho, pancit canton, etc; name it!) but since it was my first time here, I wasn't really prepared to do anything for my food - I lacked research and experience. So, the ready-to-eat ones were my to-go.

They specialize in shabu-shabu aka hotpot and barbecued meals. Both of which, you boil and grill on your own! It's actually a great experience and is a must-try.
